The Timeline of Our Company
The journey toward building the VforView vision has been long, challenging, and full of valuable experience. 2014 - 2015
During this period, the initial idea and research began on how to create a solution for the fleet management and vehicle monitoring challenges faced by many businesses.
2016
During the economic crisis in Greece, an important meeting took place in Athens with British programmer Alfred Briscol, who had spent the previous 11 years working in tracking technology. The discussions and exchange of ideas became a decisive step toward turning the VforView vision into reality.
2016 - 2017
During two consecutive business trips to China, and following recommendations from Alfred Briscol, we arranged important meetings with two major companies specializing in GPS tracking technology and vehicle monitoring systems. These collaborations helped us better understand the market and the technological possibilities required to build the foundation of the VforView platform.
2017 - 2018
With the help of Wáng zǐ yóu, whom we met during one of the meetings in 2017, we began testing different GPS tracking devices in order to find the ideal balance between durability, build quality, strong signal performance, and affordable cost. Later in 2018, we started experimenting with the development of our own software platform by adapting existing technologies and connecting them with the final GPS device solution selected for VforView.
2019
From the very beginning, Alfred Briscol had warned us that as the years passed, many similar fleet management solutions would enter the market, and that the biggest challenge for most companies would eventually become the high operational cost. Following his advice and our own vision, by the end of 2019 we had successfully developed the BETA version of the VforView platform, selected the appropriate GPS device, and created a solution that combined reliability, functionality, and significantly lower operating costs for future clients.
2020
In January 2020, we finalized the official name of the platform: VforView. The letter “V” was chosen because it resembles the location symbol and also represents the concept of “View” and visibility. During the same period, we secured the final key partnership with a SIM card provider for global data connectivity, allowing the platform to operate internationally with stable communication and reliable tracking performance. At the same time, our friend Mike Varney from the United States helped us complete the final optimization and testing of the software, GPS device, and SIM integration. One month later, we officially presented the BETA version of the VforView platform at the HORECA exhibition, where it received extremely positive feedback and strong interest from businesses and professionals.
09/2021
In September 2021, we began the final testing phase with 15 selected partners who would later become the first VforView Gold Members. These early collaborators helped us improve the platform through real-world usage and, in return, received exclusive benefits, premium support, and special partnership advantages.
02/2022
The VforView platform officially entered full operational service and became available for active business use.
